Self-hosted continue packet

Sit down anywhere. Already know.

Your PC, laptop, phone, and agents share one private board. Last project, a one-line note, the seat you sat in. You host it. MIT.

  • Self-hosted
  • Password gate
  • No public accounts

The board

Context that follows you, not a feed.

One continue packet. Device stamps. Handoff. Optional encrypted notes. Nothing here is analytics or a vendor cloud.

Continue

Last project and a one-line note travel with you.

Phone, laptop, desktop, agent. Sit down and the packet is waiting.

Handoff

Stamp the device you sat down at. The continue packet stays. Local claim checks stay local.

Private

Password gate. Optional encrypted notes. You own the KV. No hosted account.

Any browser

Phone, laptop, desktop. The board is a URL you host. No installer.

Agents

CLI and MCP pull the same packet. Paths are slugs, never home directories.

Encrypt

Notes can stay ciphertext on the board. Decrypt only on a machine that has the key.

Phosphor ASCII desk: monitor, person, phone. The machines you actually sit at.

How it works

Host it. Stamp the seat. Continue.

Deploy your board

Cloudflare Pages plus one KV namespace. Two secrets: gate password and write token.

Stamp the seat

Unlock in the browser and stamp the device you sat down at. The continue packet does not change.

Pick up anywhere

Next device reads the same packet. Agents can now, handoff, and set context too.

Run your own

Clone, deploy, continue.

Secrets stay in the host, never in the JS bundle.

git clone https://github.com/Pitchfork-and-Torch/groksync

FAQ

Straight answers.

What is GrokSync?

GrokSync is a self-hosted private board so your PC, laptop, phone, and agents share one continue packet. Sit down anywhere and already know what you were doing on the others.

Is there a hosted GrokSync account?

No. You clone the MIT repo and run your own board on Cloudflare Pages plus KV. There is no public hosted account.

What is a continue packet?

A short, redacted snapshot of the last project, a one-line note, and optional next step. It travels with you. Local claim checks stay on the machine you sat down at.

Can I use it on a phone?

Yes. GrokSync is a website you host. Open your board URL in any browser on phone, laptop, or desktop.

Where does my data live?

On the host you deploy. Password gate, optional encrypted notes, and a write token for agents. Nothing in this product is a vendor cloud that reads your disk.

What license is it under?

MIT. Fonts under public/fonts/fontshare keep their ITF Free Font License files.

Your board. Your host.

Clone the repo, set two secrets, sit down on the next machine with the same packet waiting.
